Hamilton – London


Ever since I saw that this musical was getting a West End version, I wanted to see it. It’s much easier for me to go to London than New York.  I subscribed to the Delfont Mackintosh website to be able to buy tickets in advance of the presale. This meant that I have bought my tickets last year in January and I am only now (in February) going to see it. I have very high expectations since this is a Tony award-winning musical and normally this proves the quality of the book. Let’s hope the London crew live up to the expectations

Angels in America: Perestroika


Back to the cinema for the second part of this play. After the first part, I still have some questions that I would like to have resolved. Who is this Angel? What will change in the lives of the characters? Is the medication the characters who see/ hear the angel have something to do with this?  Let’s find out!

Doctor Faustus (London 24/05/2016)


When I was asked if I wanted to go along to London recently, I started watching around which plays were on. I had some choices ready for my travelling companion to choose from “People, Place and things” (which I would have watched just to see if it really is that good to move from the National Theatre to West End), Wicked (I’ve wanted to see this musical ever since I read the book by Gregory Maguire) and Doctor Faustus was the third choice I gave.
