This is already the last day of Pukkelpop. Thank God, it’s Saturday today and I don’t have to go to work tomorrow. Is there anything better to end a week of holidays? I have had a very busy week but tomorrow I will need to catch up on some sleep!

Pukkelpop 2018: Day Two

The first day over, on to the second. After some well-deserved sleep, I once again arrive at the festival grounds and am ready for yet another day of music. Day two for me already, and once again I’m at the festival very early. It’s a bit weird that I want to see all the British indie/rock bands and that they are all on early in the day.

Pukkelpop 2018: Day One

Here we are at the second festival of the summer (at least for me) and for this one, I have a completely different reason to visit. Where I go to Rock Werchter for the big names,  to Pukkelpop I come for the more alternative bands. Well, I say alternative, it’s more that they are sometimes not that mainstream and that some people who go to Rock Werchter don’t know them. I also come to this festival for the general atmosphere here. I don’t know why but this festival feels much more relaxed than Rock Werchter.

Werchter Boutique 2018

When I saw that this year’s Werchter Boutique would have Bruno Mars as a headliner, I didn’t doubt for a second to buy a ticket. A few years ago, I saw Bruno perform in Antwerp and I’m still in awe of that show (musically but also staging). Sometime later, the supporting acts were announced and there are some in there that I want to see. Me a happy camper (although I don’t camp) and on my way to the Werchter Festival ground for the first time this year (yes, many other times to follow in the coming weeks).
